1 · Core principles

SolarBrief.Africa is committed to accurate, contextualised and useful information. We clearly separate facts, analysis and opinion. Op-eds and interviews reflect their authors' views and are labelled as such.

2 · Sources & verification

Every figure we publish is tied to an identifiable source (official announcement, report, market database). Deal Tracker and Project Builder data are indicative and aggregated from public sources; they do not constitute investment advice.

3 · Independence & conflicts of interest

Our editorial line is independent of advertisers and partners. Any sponsored content is explicitly labelled and never produced by the newsroom without disclosure.

Partner content

A brand may commission and pay for an article, published in the Technology & equipment section as “Partner content”. This format follows four rules:

• it is labelled at the top of the article and on its card as “Partner content · Written for”, followed by the brand's name, and the disclosure is repeated at the end;
• it never presents itself as newsroom reporting or analysis, and does not take the lead spot on the site or in the newsletter without an editorial decision;
• the figures it cites are sourced, as in any article published on SolarBrief.Africa;
• links to the brand's website are declared as sponsored to search engines.

The technical guides and tech articles in the same section are written by the newsroom, with no payment involved.

4 · Corrections & right of reply

Any reported error is corrected promptly and, where relevant, noted at the foot of the article. Right of reply can be exercised at news@solarbrief.africa.
